LF meat cutter in Ottawa Valley

Any suggestions on where to get a deer/bear done up in Ottawa this season? Trying to find some place a bit closer to home.
 
Dunrobin butcher does a great job. Meat is double wrapped. They are a regular butcher shop and does game meat after hours, all done to regulations.
 
I'm sure you'll get steered in the right direction here But:

For the investment in time it would take, you would really be better off in the long run learning to do it yourself. The butcher (any butcher) just doesn't care as much as you do (or should). The first couple of animals may be rough, but after that most guys can do it as well as the meat cutters and almost as fast.

It takes me less than an hour to skin, debone, cut and trim a deer and then maybe 40 minutes on the vac packer. Average here is $70 to cut and wrap a deer. I shoot 4-5 of them each year. Meat is cleaner and I get better yield than I ever got from a butcher.

Now a good sausage maker is a completely different story.


But it is your deer so have at 'er.
