I am looking for information on the Defence industries Ltd. production of Boxer primed 303 during the war. Any info, dates, pictures, etc would be appreciated. Was all their production Boxer primed?

Thanx

There is a good amount of info on DIL made 303 in MacDonalds "Canada and The 303 British", not much in Wonchs book though. I scanned through them quickly and saw nothing pertaining speciffically to Boxer primed rounds.
Perhaps Badgerdog might have a better idea.

I have scanned the "Text Book of Ammunition No. 5 SAA 1944" a WW2 British Army Publication. PM me with your email address if you want it.

"The Du Pont Canada History" says DIL made 2,889,072,000 rounds of SA ammo.
In "ID Manual on the .303 British Service Ctg" all the DC/DI ammo is shown as Boxer primed which agrres with my personal observation.
