LH shooters with RH guns..??

Switched to Mossberg 590 A1 for the Tang Safety, and have a Stag Arms Model 1 L with full ambi controls, a Savage Arms Mark II BTVLSS, Browning SA 22lr for the bottom eject and the take down ability. Gunna go with a Browning Maxus with the safety reversed or a Super Black eagle in left hand not sure yet. Both are good for lefties. My Thompson Center .308 is right handed and I really like that gun just wish it was left handed.

That has the standard lower, and only the upper mirrored right? I've always wondered if it's worth it. What's your opinion?

I just recently bought a Savage 111 in LH.
I learned to shoot on RH bolt gun's and still own a few.
I can't believe how much easier fast follow up's are with the Savage.
I still like the RH gun's though.
I just normally leave my left hand on the grip and cycle the bolt with my right hand.
hth

This helps,
How does it feel to shoulder an do you naturally use your left or due to many years still have to remind yourself?
i do the same an cycle right with a left pistol grip hold, seems to have worked well for the past 15 years LOL.

same reason as others, just to simply try whats on offer for Us leftys :) but would have to try before i buy as id be trading A RH Abolt 300wsm, would be something around 7mm to replace otherwise a lefty ruger scout i recently thought about for stalking/bacpack hunts, 308 is plenty for up close sambar

I have found with the Ruger hawkeye RH in 35whln the 3 posi Safety being on the right side works pretty well with my thumb an a little tilt also helps, the A bolt is centred an is of course somewhat easier to use but not a biggy imo

I put lots of right hand rifles in left hand stocks. For some left handers it's the best of both worlds.

I hear ya! I have a half dozen or so right hand bolt Rem 700 BDL V.S. rifles in different short action cals and a custom Apache Gold left hand stock for them, built by Steve (gunpro). They all fit like a glove in this stock, yes one at a time. And it's really the cat's ass for bench rest shooting, for me! Everything is right there in front of my face, the action, the bolt, the ejecting cases. My left hand stays in the thumb-hole stock, while my right hand is available to load up, operate the bolt, pick my nose or scratch my bag, if needed. It just feels sooooooo right! :D
P.S. Looking for Rem 700 BDL V.S. in 6mm and 7mm-08.

I have all RH guns except my tikka 7mm. After shooting RH rifles LH all my life, I honestly almost find it to be a hinderance when i shoot my Tikka! maybe its just me, but i wouldnt buy another one i dont think.

I am full bore leftie and just dont like RH bolts. I have a leftie Ruger77 30-06 and a Savage 99c 308 which is pretty much ambi plus I have ordered a left Browning Xbolt Micro Hunter in 308 and a Xbolt Hunter 30-06 is expected later on. I have a CZ452 and CZ527 left bolts and my CZ85 pistols are ambi. I am MUCH more comfortable shooting lefties or ambis. Browning BPS bottom eject and tang safety. Works for me plus its purdy. The new Browning Xbolts are also fitted with tang safeties. Got a couple of single action Martinis that could care less too. There are choices.
