Liberals looking at all out handgun/assault rifle ban!

This would take changes to the criminal code to make this happen.......which is a HUGE process....... not gonna happen anytime soon

So as someone fairly new to shooting, and a person who just put a sizeable down payment on a handgun... How worried should I be? Should I cancel my order and wait?

I agree that we need a day of action at Parliament Hill in large numbers! This will open the eyes of not only the government but the public as well. We need to physically show the public that there are a large number of law abiding firearms owners who will not stand for ridiculous laws.

Perhaps, a set of rolling demonstrations locally and then in Ottawa:
- in front of offices of local MPs (especially Liberals' who won with slim majority)
- in front of city halls
- in front of provincial legislatures
- then on Parliament Hill

We really have to stand together and fight this BS. We all have this wonderful hobby and have invested tons of money in to it! It's ridiculous that we're constantly persecuted and seem to always have a target on our backs! For what?! This is so frustrating. In the event of this "ban" Can we lawyer up for a class action lawsuit?

Nope because that's what the Liberals want you to do. If this krap goes through which would be political suicide then at least you have one. I'm buying more. Don't give a damn what this government says. Gov't wants my guns they better bring friends.

Is there any way we can organize, province to province?

Obviously it's not feasible for me to hop on a plane to Ottawa, as much as I'd like to.

But if we could organize something - a rally, some face time with an MP - Hell, even a trip to the shooting range.

I'm just the same as the next guy, but the writing on the wall is getting pretty dark by all accounts. I'd if nothing else would like to say I did something, rather than sit back. Because at this rate it seems like the wagons are circling for the wrong reasons.

And for those wondering should I hold off on a purchase - hell no! Buy it, and enjoy it, and it'll give you a better reason to stand up and say NO when this discussion is brought up against us law-abiding firearm owners.

You can't enslave a armed population because that is where we are heading. They are well on there way in Canada to eliminating cash, Canadians are one of the biggest adapters of debit, credit cards etc and there is a reason why they push this hard. Once you loose cash, you have lost control, when it all just becomes binary code they will tax you for the air you breathe, armed population is a problem.

They are already taxing the air we breathe in Alberta with our globalist provincal ndp government.

Taxing us to live see, we breathe in air and exhale the CO2 so make us pay for doing it via Carbon tax.

Agenda 21 is a plan to collectivize private property, re-educate the world into a single globalist mindset, and depopulate the world.

Clearly the liberals will try to take advantage of the media coverage surrounding recent tragic events for their own political gain. If you want to defeat them politically you will need to focus on their weaknesses(and they have plenty). We will need to emphasize the long standing record of responsible firearm use by legitimate gun owners(whether semi auto, handgun or non restricted) and a system of gun control that is amongst the best in the world. While focusing on the many broken election promises and unpopular liberal policies, particularily in rural areas. Ranting on about unfair gun control will not do anything but make it worse. We can and will prevail.

If anyone in Vancouver wants to organize something ... I’m in !

I agree a sale is in order!
The kicker!
Items are full price.... wait for it.... But....
a percentage of the profit goes toward fighting this BullSh*t speak of banning restricted firearms!

I would put my money towards that!
