Trump hater? I actually like trump and a lot of his policies. What I dislike is sticking with old issues that were resolved and proven false. It's along the lines of calling trump a Russian agent. It's baseless, and doesn't bear any fruit in reality.
 
Please don't forget, that our system doesn't care how many people voted for one party or another.
It's all about the number of seats. And, surprise!, Liberals have 140 projected seats when CPC have 133.

Especially interesting in Ontario - Libs 36%, Cons 35%, PPC - 6%!

I’ve been watching the PPC closely in the opinion polls. Theirs polling has in the last week or so been all over the place. I’ve seen it as high as 9.5%(national) to as low as 2%. I plan on voting PPC for first time, but I feel as i would be surprised if they get as much as 5% nation wide. I hope they do better and keep o’toole from winning.

Watched the 2nd debate... Gun questions came up towards the end.

BQ and NDP just both said again they are FOR & will support the bans.

Guys , seriously, if the CPC doesn't get a majority, WE WILL LOSE OUR GUNS.

I don't know why PPC voters don't get this or why they're ok in letting this happen.

I'll admit I lean more towards PPC than CPC on many issues, but I know the PPC have no chance in this election, and I'm voting for a better 4 years ahead (i.e. 4 years without the Turd).

A vote for PPC is a vote for Trudeau. They should reflect on this before voting.

So you're ok with losing your guns if the CPC doesn't get a majority due to the conservative vote being split?

Really, I don't get how PPC voters are OK with this. Just think of the ripple effect additional bans would have on the firearm community, ranges near your place, firearm businesses, etc.

I don't get why PPC voters are ignoring the consequences of a split conservative vote and have the Turd around for 4 more years (6 wasn't enough?!?).

Look at the Liberal Platform. Read it. Read it again. Because that's what's going to happen.

Please put your PAL in the voting envelope along with your ballot because you don't deserve it - you have absolutely no clue as to how to give yourself the best chance to hang on to your firearms.

PPC i keep seeing talk about saving small business. Well enough Votes for them will literally kill the small business industry surrounding firearms.
 
Vote CPC and lobby your MP for proportional representation electoral reform. This is the only way we can all actually vote the way we want and it count for something.

Seriously, why don't PPC voters get this? It's right in front of them in the liberal platform in which the NDP & BQ support, and the bans will go through for sure without a CPC majority.

Then they'll come posting here complaining after the fact once it's too late, and we won't even be left with airsoft/BB guns because those will be banned too under C-71.

Seriously, we're in hot water here. A vote for PPC is a vote for Trudeau. I can't say this enough.

It's too late for electoral reform. The election is in less than 2 weeks. This very election will determine the path of the firearms community in Canada (why more people don't realize what's at stake is mind boggling).

Again, I don't get how PPC voters are ok losing their guns given it WILL happen. For those who are delusional thinking it won't, there's no way to avoid unless the CPC get a majority.

Really, it's mind boggling WHY they would want the firearms community and businesses to get screwed badly knowing it was entirely avoidable by NOT splitting the conservative vote is just beyond me.

They don't even realize this is EXACTLY what Trudeau wants, and looks as if he'll get his ban given some of the pro PPC responses in this thread...
 
Canada is way too far left to vote the PPC into power. There needs to be a concerted effort to gradually push policies further right. Unfortunately too many people like free s#!t. CPC is the only plausible option to push Trudeau out. Be pragmatic people, unfortunately voting for PPC is a vote for Trudeau.
 
Here’s the deal guys. Just imagine for a second that the PPC did not exist. Take the conservatives say 34% of the vote and add onto that 7% from the PPC. That is 41% of the vote for the conservatives. Just imagine how much better and united we would be without the PPC. The creation of the PPC is one of the worst decisions in Canadian politics.

It's obvious some don't get this. Liberal trolls or closet Liberals. As gun owners in Canada, in this current election cycle the CPC is the only choice. If the Turd gets in again, we are fu@ked and you can kiss your firearms goodbye. That is only the beginning with the Turd, more to follow with this moron. I still don't get it. Hellen Keller can see it ffs. We are our own worst enemy.

Why are some people so terrible at math? While I don't wish to encourage single issue voting, I'm doing it here in some regard. O'Toole's platform on issues is really no different from any leader in the past 30 years, so it's really no factor.

That said, if the Conservatives don't reign in a majority - because you've thrown your vote in the name of foolish pride or distaste for arbitrary shifts in policy - you will lose your guns in the next few years. This is a fact.

Not only with items like C71, but now that they've had little issue with a sweeping OIC, we're one attack away from the next.

You either vote to sweep the Liberal party, or you vote to pack up and find a new hobby.

Act accordingly, and stop pumping your chest.
