Hi guys. A member asked me to post my experience with Liberty Tree . Smooth transaction ,probably because I bought an M44 bayonet lug/front sight and nothing to do with a bolt or receiver. Installing the new bayonet lug on my Polish M44 went smoothly as well . The lug I received was in excellent condition , much better than shown in the add picture. For my experience with Liberty, I would certainly buy again.

Liberty Tree can be hit and miss with quality and what they will ship to Canada, but overall they are a good option for mil-surp parts.

i tried ordering an isreali mauser stock set that they wouldnt send, but the parts to replace the bayonette and front sight on my hungarian M44 were no problem.

I was disappointed with LIBERTYTREE They had CARCANO en bloc clips CHEAP!!!!!!!when I said I was in Canada, they said we do not ship there!!! I replied that I have
a brother in Quebec, just north of Maine,. could you ship there ? Response NO and hung up on me....... not impressed.
I suppose that HOME LAND SECURITY is behind a lot of the out of country shipping regs. finally got some on e bay shipping was a killer....

A lot of the stuff they used to send to me - stripper clips specifically - they won't any more. I guess they've had a scare and someone has mentioned the ITAR word...

Service was fast and efficient but disappointed they refunded the amount back on my card for the 2 piece FN 49 firing pin assy. that I had also ordered. Their explanation for the refund on the receipt was that it was an ITAR item unable to be sent to Canada. Doesn't make sense for a no longer issued 60 year old part. Other than that I got all my slings and cleaning kit accessories very quickly. Probably won't waste my time going that route again, have better luck on the CGN Exchanges. gladius 2.

There is a stupid $100 limitation on international orders, well, I'll just do several order over the next few weeks...

On the down side, they did not bother warning me that my order had been cancelled, I had to call them to get its status.

The stupid part is that I now have an order from them *and* numrich in the pipe. So at the end, these stupid regs have made me order *more* than I did previously.
