The people involved should be charged with attempted order of however many people were at that parade. Potentially it could have happened.

The Toronto Police Service would like to inform the public of arrests made in a shooting investigation.
On Friday, June 14, 2019, at approximately 4:17 a.m., officers were on patrol and monitoring a large crowd in the Yonge Street and Gould Street (https://www.google.com/maps?q=yonge...ved=0ahUKEwjS_7yD3-7iAhUIyFkKHaNlDkUQ_AUIECgB) area.
It is alleged that:
- a 19-year-old man became involved in an altercation with another man
- the other man produced a gun and shot the 19-year-old man
- he continued to shoot even as the 19-year-old had fallen
- he then fled with a group of friends
- officers, responding to the sound of gunshots, stopped the group
- guns and drugs were seized from the group
