better question is was it purchased by 20,000 RPAL holders that never own an AR before or 5,000 gun owners buying 3 or 4 rifles trying to stock up?

either way it is a bit of good news but 20,000 new AR owners would have send a stronger message.

while over time I owned/sold/owned/sold, at the time of panic I did not own one but I got one just as the panic was about to start. So for practical purposes, my purchase presented another (new) AR owner.
