Ok.. my AR-15 is almost "done" ;-)

I have the following:

- Armalite M15 flattop with 14" barrel
- Match trigger
- Tritium front post and a Holosight scope
- ARMS#40L backup sight
- Fobus F33 stock (with top and bottom rails)
- Tango down grip
- 4 position folding stock
- CQB single point sling

Now I just need to figure out what to put on for a light. Any suggestiong for a $200 or less solution? Right now I have my M33 light attached.. ok for close up work but that is about all.

Ideas? Suggestions?

I'd look around the exchange, ebay, and other sites for a surefire system. If you have the tango down grip, a setup like this would be perfect...

This particular one runs about 375usd, new. A little pricey, but well worth it!

I recently purchased a Laser Devices light with an Arms throw lever on it and so far I'm impressed with it. You can get it in a couple different configurations including with a pressure pad.

Seals Action Gear in Calgary. For the life of me I can't remember what I paid for it

The one I got was the LD21119. 6 volt, 95 lumens, ARMS throw lever and toggle switch (similar to a click in tailcap you can click it on or just apply pressure to turn it on).

Cheapest Solution - got get a Weaver 1" ring and a SureFire G2 light.

The Scout lights are nice but a bit more pricey.

That's what I've got. I went all fancy with it and got a click on tailswitch as well. I'm looking for an anti-shock bezel and I'll be all set for under $100 CDN.

Thanks guys.. I have a lever release 1" ring that I can use.. so I think I will pick up a G2 light for now.. I can always sell some stuff and upgdade later ;-)

I like the sure fire 900 or something like that!! The one with the vertical grip and light all in one piece.Diemaco sells them as an option with their C8's.I think they are like $900 bucks though.

My Streamlight Scorpion (45 $) with the Fobus FAS-3 quick release mount (about 30$) is all you need for civilian application (i.e. looking cool at the gun club).

Plus, it does the job decently for military CQB/FIBUA ops... its way better than those mini-mag light taped around the handguards.

If you actually work in mil/law/security setting, then you can consider a more professionnal setup (flashlights that cost more than 300$).

although two things come into play here:
1) your service unit should pay for such an important piece of life-saving equipment;
2) if your a civilian guy that doesn't care about speeding hundreds of dollars, but only care about the looks of your guns, then go ahead & purchase the most expensive tact light you can find.

I am very much a "civilian".. even if I am a fed employee ;-). This is mostly for the LCF.. but also in case I am at the range the the sun goes out or if the zombies attack at night ;-)

I will post some pics once I have my G2 bought and mounted.
