Light for Norc 1911

Hello guys, so im buying a 1911 this one to be exact


I want to get a light for it that attaches under the barrel, and im wonder what some good cheaper nice looking lights are for this gun.*

Ive looked around on the internet, but there is so many of them i dont even know where to start.

The X300 is definitely nice, but it is far form cheap. The Streamlight TLR-1 is a lot of light for the money and is worth a close look.

By the way, The link you posted doesn't seem to go anywhere.... what 1911 did you buy?
 
Thanks for the tips, its the 1911-a1 from frontier. im ordering it when I get home from camp.

However now that I have seen armacoats new norc 1911's I think one of those in matte black might be on the list instead
 
If you want to attach a weapon light to your pistol, it requires a Picitanny/1913 rail system on the frame of the pistol. (See Kimber desert warrior, Springfield operator). You can buy adapters that affix to the trigger guard, but the added width can make it incompatible with most rigid kydex holsters.

Surefire makes a rail adaptor that clamps on ... bud Imo there useless other then cool factor not like you can take your pistol any where other then the range and last I check they have lights
