light load for 350 rem?

Has anyone had any luck with reduced loads with pistol bullets in the 350 rem mag?

I tried light loads and pistol bullets in my .356 Win. and they shot poorly, the cast 250gr. fp gc shot great however, both at 1200fps and 2200fps.

One of the Speer loading manuals has pistol bullet loads for the .350 mag--I had pretty good success with hormady jacketed silhouette bullets in mine when I had one.

I load 158g JHP at about 850fps out for my 358win. About 5-6 grains of red dot shotgun powder. Perfect for close up quiet jobs around the farm.
