light loads for 40S&W with 180 xtp and titegroup

But Hodgdon list starts at 4.2 with the 180 xtp

I run 3.6gr/TG with the 180gr. Shoot this from my G35 and, when I had it, my Trojan.

Ran a bunch of testing for my IPSC pistol, using 180gr FN, Titegroup and a Tanfoglio Limited Custom, 5"
It'll give you an idea of FPS and PF. Ran 20 rounds of each load to get the averages.

3.7 - 650 fps, 117 pf
3.9 - 724 fps, 130 pf
4.1 - 788 fps, 141 pf
4.3 - 840 fps, 151 pf
4.5 - 873 fps, 157 pf
4.7 - 921 fps, 165 pf
4.9 - 951 fps, 170 pf
5.1 - 965 fps, 175 pf

Intention was to go to 180 pf, but thought 5.1 would do it, so didn't load higher for time of testing.

Figuring 5.3 should be close enough.

Jamie, if you are using a G35, you can go as low as 3.2gr, but I don't think that you will like the sluggish slide action. I didn't, but the PF was 135.
