Dude, you sound like the kid that rats everyone out to the teacher in elementary school.
We aren't arguing *what* the rules are. We are saying the rules are and illogical and not in the spirit of realistic "Defensive Pistol" shooting.
Why not practice the skills AND with the equipment you will use in a gunfight? Is that not the original intent of this sport?

If you are having an IDPA practice night then I would ask why not practice the skills you need when you have your monthly match. Include low light scenarios all good. Just don't tell me you are practicing shooting IDPA low light scenarios with a light attached to the gun. You aren't.
