my 10/22 is having some issues with light primer strikes. but i'm not quite understanding it.
Hope someone could help shed a little light on my problem.

I've tried stripping and cleaning the whole system including trying different lubes/oils/nothing at all.
i have a vq trigger system upgrade and the titanium striker.
everything is polished super silky where it should be. The setup is kind of well used, 5-7k rounds through it. Maybe worn springs?
I couldn't ask for a better trigger unless Santa decided to bring me the Kidd trigger. *Cough, cough.

I'm kind of taking a random guess at the solution and my next guess's would to be start throwing money in the way of new parts at it.

When you say titanium striker do you mean the firing pin? Assuming that's what you've got I would swap out the VQ parts one at a time and test until your light strikes go away. Also have you tried different ammo or switched recently? Its possible the hammer spring has become worn but only if its defective. My 1989 hammer spring is still going strong with a gunked up OE firing pin and no light strikes. I've even cut a coil off it to reduce trigger pull. Lastly has the firing pin become worn? Just because its aftermarket and made of fancy material doesn't mean its any better than OE. Improper heat treating happens and will cause premature wear. So to summarize: look into other ammo if possible then swap the OE parts back in one at a time until the rifle functions like it used to.

It does occur with all ammo. Unfortunately i dont have the stock trigger parts anymore
The firing pin is well worked in so i will start by replacing it maybe with something heavier.

Thanks for the advice. I know its impossible to point fingers without looking at the rifle. I just tinker with the trigger, cant claim to know much about it

CHANGE THE BOLT !!!! Im just kidding try adjusting your firing pin several good DIY online google it and a few youtube videos online that should help
