It would be advisable to check the NB regs regarding Magazine capacity as that may eliminate having 10 rd mags a an option.

That would open more firearm options up, but would be less desirable as a whole.

If shotguns are legal, 12 gauge pump shottie cant be beat for defense.

IIRC, as long as we are discussing the pump action 7615 the matter should be a moot point. Most provincial game laws are more concerned with the capacity of high-powered semi-auto rifles or shotgun magazine limits for migratory birds.

Technically this non-restricted pump action rifle should fall under the same scrutiny as a lever action 44 calibre or 30-30 rifle or carbine. (6 rounds or even more with a full length magazine tube on a 24-26 inch lever rifle)
