light short 303 cast bullet

anyone using the lee bullet mold in .303 brit. its about 100 gr. how is it performing and what are some good loads. my brother just got one and is having trouble finding loading data, most of our books are from the 70s.

You can use light 30-30 load data for it, the pressure is about right for a cast boolit.

Try 4-5gr of Unique for a 900fps[ chicken load]grouse...........Harold

I have used a .32-20 115grn cast boolit with 8.0 grains of Unique in a couple of Lee Enfields and a Ross with good success.

No matter what you're trying to do with cast in the .303, proper bullet size/fit will be most important.
