Hi all,

I'm getting very rare light strikes on my baby eagle. I didn't get the gun new, but I don't think it's had any work done on it... Works great 99.9% of the time, but sometimes I get a light strike, sometimes it looks like there is no mark on the primer at all...

Any ideas? Thanks!

Clean it at all?

Meaning more than a field strip. If you havnt I would do that for sure before going crazy with it.

ok, cool. Any magic to taking apart the firing pin mechanism? I'm not familiar with the whole decocker system (I'm more used to the CZ/Tanfoglio setup, with the safety/etc in the frame)?

I have no idea how baby eagles work ,but..
to much oil in/on the firing pin in a Glock can cause a hydraulic situation and give the same symtoms you are descibing .
