So I have been getting light strikes on my gf's maverick 88. It's fairly new and it gets light strikes about once every 25 or so rounds. Any ideas as to why? I clean and lightly lube it after every day out. Too much lube? Faulty firing pin? Bad spring? I'm kinda at a loss as to why. I have a 500 that I bought the same day pretty much and have had no light strikes on it ever. Is it just the fact the 88 is a cheap gun or something else? Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.
