Light weight 3030

Is the weight accurate on that? Anyone put it on an accurate scale?

I would think it would be lighter than 5.5 lbs unless that barrel has a thick-ish profile. I have a bolt gun with a real stock and a 22" barrel that weighs 5.5 lbs.
I have no clue but you might be right it could be lighter.

Taking into consideration it's a thought exercise , remember the movie gun in Day of the Jackal ? Possibly you could duplicate it , although it would be UGLY

Outside of things like Kimbers that are purpose built to be very light, 5.5lb is pretty light. CVA Scout is well over 6lb for example.

Yes the big badgers are 5.5lbs. Think they could have did some trimming on it as it is built heavier than needed it be. It does have low recoil when shooting it

Ranger Point Precision has some ltwgt parts for lever guns, then there is the GForce Arms @5.5 lbs

or add a 30-30 barrel liner to your econo 20 ga folding 1-shot @ nine35.ca

I didn't realize gforce had a 30-30. 5.7lb according to their US site. If that's accurate then I want one! (Although I somehow doubt it's accurate...)
