lightening a model 70

It came out about what I wanted, the only thing I'd do different is to buy the PTG alloy bottom metal rather than cut up a pre-64 floorplate. I wasn't aware they were going to make them till Chuck mentioned it.

Probably also swap in a set of the extra-low Talleys once I find a set.

It's a 308 by the way, forgot to mention that.
 
she's a beauty for sure... i have seen another m70 (extreme weather i believe it was) the receiver was milled with matching flutes to the barrel for weight reduction. looked great.
