Lighter bullets in Whitworth, Volunteer, & Rigby???

Having an improperly healed broken collarbone about eight years ago, I've developed an aversion to recoil.
Over a six month period last year, I've acquired one of each of the above named rifles, and now that nicer weather is here, I'm anxious to give them a try.
I'm wondering if anyone has tried heavy .452 revolver bullets, about 300 grsins, in one of these gems.
Since I just have a 200 yard range available to me, I'm not needing the long range capabilities that these rifles have.

As I understand with the Whitworth... it needs the heavier bullets to stabilize properly. The twist is for more longer bullets...
Like round ball and intermediate twists, they have their own sweetspot , so maybe... they might have a lower weight projectile likening....

I dont have personal experiance, but im interested as to others what they might have... especially for the Whitworth.
