lighter weight striker spring on M&P 40 pistol

I finally swapped out the striker spring on my M&P 40 from the factory spring to a 4 lb rated Wolff spring. Anyone know what kind of difference I should expect the next time I take it out??

I have a .40 M&P that has got a couple of 1000 rounds through it....no issues.
What issues were you having that you felt you needed to change the spring?

I ordered a heavier than factory recoil spring for use with some energetic reloads, and figured I'd snag a few of them(striker springs) seeing I was ordering from the place anyways. No issues with the pistol so far.
