Lights for gun room.

Curious what type of light I should put up in my gun room. One 60 watt right now but would like to put in some t5's or t8's. Don't want to screw up my charge master.

Dimmable LED. Try to get warm colour bulbs instead of cool colour bulbs.

T5s/T8s will screw with your chargemaster, they throw off quite abit of interference that the chargemaster is sensitive enough to pick up. I had an issue at my old place with my T5 aquarium lights, whenever they were on my zero would wander and I'd have to re zero almost every other charge.

Dimable controls seem always to give off interference, check them well to see if they effect any of your key electronics ..

I put up a adjustable 3 light fixture with led spots that I can aim at what I want to see ,,,,,

Anybody have any figures they have tried and recommend?

While I haven't found my chargemaster zero drifting, I have noticed it's not the most accurate device. I have tested and it doesn't appear to be light interference, but I do use fluorescent bulbs.

I wouldn't mind finding a good alternative.

Keep a decent amount of distance between the lights and the scale and you should be fine. I find my cell phone creates more interference than my lights. Leave your phone in another room.
