I'm looking at getting a new lightweight 20ga for bunny season next year. I was set on getting a new benelli ultralight 20ga. I am not considering one of the new A5 hunters in 20ga. They are close in weight, the A5 comes with a 2" longer barrel. WHat's everyones thoughts on the two guns? Are there any of the A5s in Canada yet that anyone has had a look at? I am after my local dealer to order in a A5 so I can have a feel for it before I buy it. Is everyone happy with their ultralights?

I have a Benelli Montefeltro Silver in 20 gauge and absolutely love it, 5.5 lbs, very light to carry, hits where it’s pointed, would buy another one in a heartbeat. The ultralight is a few ounces lighter, should be a sweet gun.

20 g browning Gold has been lights out one of the best semi autos I have ever owned and shot everything from geese to Quail with it in @ 6lbs.

Why not be different and go with a Franchi 48 or Fenice. The 20g weighs about 5.5lbs and is available with barrel lengths from 24” to 28”. Sometimes you can win the walnut lottery if you’re patient enough to keep looking….

I recently picked up a new Beretta A400 lite in 20.

Sweet little gun, but apparently Beretta is not making them anymore.

Also, Benelli M2 is a sweet little gun.

Just an FYI - there is an unfired NIB Benelli Ultra-light 20Ga on ####### for $2500 it would be the best choice.

my brother has a Stevens 555 in 20ga, and it is a beautiful, light gun, especially for the money. The problem I have with it, is I find it doesn't fit me. I find it doesn't have enough drop in the comb and I end up looking down on the bead.

am ultralight is high on my radar, there's two that I should have jumped on. One went locally for me bnib for $1750 and there was one on gun post for a while for $1550.
