A 270 or 7 RM with properly selected projectiles will handily kill any big game animal in Canada and beat on you a whole lot less. If your primary concern is landing stopping shot on a charging bear then a 7lb 300 win mag that kicks like a mule would likely be at the bottom of my list.

in bc maybe, in yukon good luck trying to explain that to a co and/or a judge ... in the same token many are using the 300wsm and 300 win mag with various results depending on bullet placements of course and the kind of bullet but the woodleigh bullet is not the worth choice if your rifle can shoot it ...
