Questar has sold Vulcan ones for quite some time. They are similar but a carbon/aramid blend.

It looks like an interesting product for a lightweight carbine build, 1.6lbs.....

And really there arent many "high traffic" parts to wear down the polymer..

Im interested

It will be like the 180b which had the problem of the front lugs breaking apart when the upper and lower were opened to quickly and the upper slammed forward putting pressure on the front lug.

whats the points of making a light weapon system lighter? i dont really see the advantage to these .unless thier affordable and would accomodate a lower budget build, even then....

There were some polymer lowers on Brownells a year or two ago that had integral fixed stocks/buffer tubes. They looked sturdy enough to me. Their catalogue showed a 14.5 inch build that weighed in under 4lbs. It looked pretty awesome to me

The only thing we got in Canada that I ever saw was those Carbon 15 9mm carbines.

I would have to buy one of these uber light lowers if somebody brought them in at a decent price. Hopefully there's a matching upper to bring in with it.
