Bare with me here, but as someone who grew up playing WW2 games and loving M1 "military aperture" sights, the lil' badger makes me very happy. Lets see what some 3D printing and wood CNC'ing can get me......

All comments and historical concerns are welcomed.

Got more done over the break. Not sure what to really do about the receiver end of this, all ideas welcome. I think I want a butt-stock that goes over the wire frame and just incorporates the plastic butt pad that's already on here.

veeery inteeeresting. would look nicer with fake gas system and cocking handle.

If you get me good photos of the handle, I could do that.

Debated the gas system. It would make the stock too high and hard to taper down to the takedown lever. I hope the rest of it stays true enough to be appreciated.

I wouldn't worry too much about perfect accuracy. A gunny picks up the detail, antis/politicians who know nothing about firearms not so much.

Thats enough for one night! Just need to split the stock up to fit on the 12" 3D printer, ensure fitment then figure out if I actually make one out of wood over the winter. May have to mill off the handle piccy rail if I decide to do this.

Holly crap! that looks way better than the "deluxe" versions they sell.

It really bothered me last night that the buttstock is 3" longer than the front furniture, so I think I'm gonna go pistol grip for the first one. Reminds me more of a M1 paratrooper, and it's going to be easier to simply carve the handle grip then try to model it. Things are a mess now with so many cut/extrudes instead of one clean surface.

Not sure about you guys, but I think this looks super cool. I didn't get the front band and flush muzzle printed (it'll probably melt when shot) due to time constraints.

Looks great, I could never get over the looks of this gun, now I may reconsider. Really want to see what comes out of it.. did you consider shortening the stock few inches?
