Lil' Badger + 3D Printer equals Springfield M.1A?

oh never mind I see what you did there. That's awesome. Yeah definitely a good modification for this thing!! fun to shoot, but hard to put too many rounds on it... hurts...

Took it out shootin, hit the 4" target from 170y with the irons - very silly and fun. About a 1/2 second delay from trigger pull to hearing impact.

Made some mods (mostly grip contour) and going to switch focus from wood to olive drab/m14 dmr styling instead (also, my friend has a full spool of green, and wood filament is 40$)

Man if you can get this to actually work that would be awesome I'm really looking forward to seeing the end product

how do you mean? The black was printed, fit first time (not surprised tbh) and survived being carried in the woods and shot for 3 hours. The green is going to be more "final product" with a better print quality and finish sanding.

Rev 2 done. Muzzle brake is tapped and attached, and the front band may never go on. I tried to remove the front sight, and they either torque it like mad at the factory or use some really good loc-tite. My allen key rotated, not the set screw.

The pistol grip is the exact same width (1 1/8) as any of my rifle stocks and only as long as my 3 fingers. I find it pretty comfortable! I think it looks really cool with the Olive drab - I may try spray painting it camo when the weathers better.

If you look at where the badger itself is, you'll see my grip is only 1mm wider than that. The badger is what dictates how "wide" the handle is, not me.

Finally got my hands on Davers stock file and got that printed up. Cheek weld is pretty good and way better than the wire wrapped in tape.

May take it out for some plinking again this week if winter weather allows.
