I need one, the NRS sucks with my light shotguns. Anyone have a line on one? TSE was the only place I ever saw them and they haven't got any.

Sell the NRS and get the Spec Ops with the recoil damper. Then you don't need a pad. It'll also reduce recoil way more than any pad. Looks and extends exactly the same as your NRS. Only a little more expensive.

I put the Medium grind to fit Limbsaver pad on my spe-ops stock, I call the combo the: "Wussmaster 2000" makes shooting 3" magnum slugs almost pleasent.

I have had the spring version, it's nice but I don't plan to buy another. Limbsavers do more than enough anyway. I had a marine magnum (which I miss so much:() With a Knoxx spring stock and an R3 pad. That was a very nice gun to shoot. Slugs and buck kicked less than trap loads out of a normal shotgun. It did look a bit funny though since the pad wasn't flush though.

a perfect example of why the NRS is a useless POS :)

you can send the NRS stock in to the factory, and they will upgrade it with the spring internals for the price difference between the two stocks (~$60) - however since we live in Canada it is probably more practical just to sell your stock on the EE and replace it with a proper Knoxx stock.

theres a sortof plastic spacer that fits over the buttplate of the stock, between the stock and recoil pad (to fill in the chamfered edge so it doesnt look like crap).
you could remove that, and use it as a basis for a grind-to-fit Limbsaver and attach with epoxy to the spacer, and then with screws through both into the stock. but honestly with all the work involved, plus the cost of the pad, you are probably better off just selling your NRS and buying a proper Knoxx stock.

Specops stocks on the Grizzly and 590

The downside of the specops stock and the Mossberg design

Medium grind to fit on specops stock. Didn't grind it at all.

You guys telling me to buy the spring version or upgrade must be built pretty light. I fire the plain NRS with little complaint. I'm doing this more for others who tag along when I shoot.

Colin,
That looks pretty good. I think I will pick one up as my search is a bust. Thanks.
