Limited edition RSI

Anything you might want out of the US is about 27% more than a few short wks ago due to the $. :(

I figure you'd be the one to contact. What a drag about the prices.

and do tell more about a factory custom Savage, i couldn't find anything about it on their website.

I couldn't find anything on their site either. But I remembered someone mentioning this on Greybeard or 24hour campfire. They had ordered a Savage 14 in .250-3000 as well. When I did a search the October '08 Guns Magazine popped up and, there was another Model 14 "custom" in .250-3000!

It's a shame that the cartridge is no longer chambered, as it is a great little round. The recoil is nil, and you can get +2900fps with a 100gr bullet.

Ah, jeez, can't afford it, I guess I'll have to keep on using my RSI 7-08 for whitetail. You never know what Ruger is going to produce.

Where did you get that? Is it a custom?

its about time! i was looking at those, there classy rifles but chambered in USEFUL but not so classey rounds....6.5 is on the right track I geuss, but I wanna see something more exotic

.250-3000? can you guys pick more obscure calibers? :D
while were at it, why dont we petition Ruger to set up a limited run group buy of RSIs in .300 ICL Grizzly

with the exchange rate, import fees, shipping and taxes that rifle would be around $2000 to your door. i like Rugers, but not that much.

They are in the states. A few folks have brought rifles in from south of the border and I understand it isn't very difficult or expensive. I am sure if you do a search you will find lots of info on the topic.

Questar Intl is one source. Contact them. I used their service when I bought my .405 M-1895 Winchester from Cabela's. I think Alberta Tactical Rifle also has a US Rederal Firearms license.

I'd make room in my safe for one of those. I might even take it out and shoot it once in a while.
