Did you notice that everyone shot from kneeling? Had they shot from standing the tendency would be to shoot behind the lion. Kneeling puts the trajectory of the bullet on the same plane as the lion's length, excellent performance.

Yes this IS a different lion than is in the video, in fact the 1s with no manes are actually the more dangerous ones, not as territorial but the lionesses are the hunters.

good video! A couple of things I noticed, first the unbelievable speed of the lion, and the time it takes to get there. And running on three legs after being shot in the back foot, didn't even slow him up or make him think twice about the attack. That's dangerous stuff.

I was going to say the same thing...Keep that in mind for bear charges, boys and girls!

The brain shot he made ont he lion was very well done, but almost impossible to miss, if the lion is coming straight for you and you are kneeling.
