Liquid Lee Alox

Works great. A little goes a long way. It's just a little messy, and make sure to check and clean your seating dies. It will build up in there.

I wouldn't bother with casting if I had to manual lube all my bullets.

I love Alox. A bit sticky so watch for dirt on the bullets.

If leading occurs in HG or mild rifle, odds are it has something to do with alloy vs pressure vs velocity and not the lube. I have run cast rifle bullets to around 2000fps. Bullets 'failed' but no leading.

It is messy and stinky and harder than hell to get off your hands but works excellent in my pistols, no leading at all.

Forgot to add that the little bottle will do about 4-5000 rounds. I put it on the bullets and shake it around in a bucket and lay them out on a piece of wax paper and let dry for a day. Then I run them thru the sizer and then I relube them and let them dry for another day on the wax paper. It is supposed to be made for Lee moulds that have micro grooving and they claim that the bullet comes out of the mould with no resizing required. Well I have tried Lyman #2 formula and also some typeset from my uncle as well as straight wheel weights and when I resize them (which I am not supposed to have to do) I would say that maybe 3 or 4 out of 100 go thru the sizer without being effected. I am not really sure if I need to relube them but my way of thinking is that the part that gets sized is the sides of the bullet and it is in direct contact with the barrel where the lube is needed.
