LIQUIDATION - cheapest prices in the country GUARANTEED!

Since there is no point making a web order, as in-storse purchases will trump them for the WHOLE day. Will phone order mean anything then? Companies that figure out online sales and treat those customers well are those that survive nowadays.

I think the sale would have been bbetter the other way around, starting online a few hours earlier.. This way local and online people get a fair shake, and people that show up when the store opens get thee bonus stuff ($20 extra off firearms)

Well not to worry - moving forward we won't have a store front. So all our blowouts will be strictly online. It's a difficult balance because at the end of the day, it is local customers who make the majority of your client base - online shoppers primarily shop only for the lowest price, while local come in and support year round.

We most likely won't be inundated all day - our black friday we cancelled only 1 or 2 orders as we were able to get to the online by noon.

Should make sales like this online only for the first few hours and you'd avoid the problem of having to feel sorry for people.

Like Boxing Day sales, most retailers that have online sales start them at 6pm Christmas Day, this way they get both online and local sales. This sale will geet local sales, and some online sales.

Then probably not a good idea to advertise a sale that starts online and in store at the same time...

It seems there's no way to please everybody. Look at Reliable's sale post for year end, they open online after instore and got messages saying it is unfair that in store people have taken all the good deals before the website even opens. At least this way, you have an opportunity vs. none at all.

In the reverse with opening online first, we'd get our locals complaining there is no point to even ever coming down to brick and mortar which we pay rent for anymore.

Anyways, our restructuring will have us close our store front and only push online from here on out.

Theres a good vendor having an excellent sale before Christmas and people still complain. I for one will be shopping the online sale and be happy with the great prices.

Thanks Rebecca!

The way you're doing it is fine, and makes perfect sense. Just don't advertise and start the sale at the same time if one takes priority over the other.

Online sale wasn't active until a minute after the sale was supposed to start. Both rifles I wanted had plenty in stock. Both sold out in less than a minute.
If a Remington 700 sps aac .308 comes up again please let me know.
