List of .22 military trainers

The Mossberg 44 US has been mentioned a few times but the Mossberg 42M(b) was also a trainer that was a lend lease to Britain.
There were also Hungarian trainers made by Lampagyar.

I think the 46 is a better platform. Slightly different bolt design ( other than the tube vs magazine of course ) and the 46 never ftf, the 42...eh...not so hot.
After a box or two you can turn dandelions to fluff at distance, with either though.
Got another incarnation in the box on the chair at the moment, promised the GF she could open it.
They are the best built 22's I've ever handled IMO...probably why I've 3 in my stable:)

Does anyone have a picture of an original sling for Canadian trainers?
I've a 152K with an OD military style sling, just wondering if it belongs on a trainer.

Martini Cadet C broad arrow marked ,
Springfield 87M , was built as a trials Trainer to duplicate M1Garand , but never adopted ,
Israilie Mauser with remmington Barrel
there are many more on my really needs list .

The No.7 is, of course the UK model but to be a complete list you'd have to include the CNo.7 as well.

the Brit RAF contract # 7 was extra special because it has and internal magazine , as most Lee Enfield trainers have and empty magwell
for empties to drop into the C#7 has that ###y ramp follower to assist feeding .

I'm green with envy - great collection!

The only ones I haven't owned are LE II (1900), and the Springfield 87M
I have owned all the rest and a number of Mauser trainers.
Had about 28 different pieces at the height of my collecting.
