There is suppose to be a shoot there but the person that told me about it doesn`t know how many rounds are shot when I asked . And my second question is what are the targets ? I`m new to this sport so I like to go prepared to anything I do .

A MATCH TO TEST THE SHOOTERS COMPETENCY, ACCURACY,
DILIGENCE & PREPAREDNESS IN PRECISION RIFLE SHOOTING
RAIN/SNOW OR SHINE
(BRING THE REQUIRED WET WEATHER/COLD WEATHER GEAR)
- $40.00 match fee: re-shoots $10.00 ($60.00 family fee – kids under 18)
- first hourly relay begins at 9:00 a.m. sharp – instructions at bottom of hour 8:30
- all relays begin at the top of the hour
- open to all center fire scoped rifles – bolt class (single shot) and semi-auto class
- distance – 95 – 100 yards (possible 200 yard shot)
- all shots fired from the prone position (bring ground sheet)
- 52 - 60 rounds PLUS per match – 30 minutes per match (BRING LOTS OF AMMO)
- any changes announced the day of the match
- bi-pod (only) – NO SAND BAGS OR RESTS OF ANY KIND ALLOWED
- spotters (two person team) allowed
- two categories: bolt (single shot) and semi-auto
- re-shoots allowed to better your score/position
- participation certificates for all shooters, prizes (vouchers) awarded by draw
- trophies awarded via “Lewis Scoring” method
- lunch is FREE with match fee --- that’s right ---- FREE LUNCH
- staging area indoors – instructions given at the bottom of the hour
- fifteen firing positions per match, 12 competitors and 3 sighting in positions
- pre-register a position on a line by contacting the organizers

That would give you one trip up to the shooting line which lasts for 1/2 hour. Personally I bring enough for 2 or 3 tries at it as re-shoots are only $10 extra (each). It seems to me that 52 rounds per shoot was what was normally needed. Bring a bit extra just in case

Unfortunately it is a centerfire shoot only. The club memebers DO however shoot the same targets indoors at 20 yards with rimfire, the following day. But as far as I know, its club members only. Someone was talking once of having the same match for rimfires at 50 yards. I would be all over this. 2 catagories. Bolt action and Semi-auto. I don't know how many rimfire enthusiests would compete, but it would be fun.

I know this'll stir some conversation up.....
Thought about how those tiny 22 cal holes were just a wee bit too small and would have scored better if they were just a bit bigger.
Remembered a bud shot it with a 338 Lap and I need to 1 up him so this year
it's a 375 H&H Ackley Improved in a 20 inch heavy with a JP Muzzle Brake.
Nice BIG holes on target and the flames only reach 3 feet to each side of the brake.Figured it'd warm things up a bit
Hope to be in shape to see Yall there. (Stiches come out of the shoulder in a few days after having a recoil pad surgically removed)
