Lithgow f90 is a great gun

Wouldn't be the first time a retailer said that about there gun.

3 or 4 years before they heard something...

You're not kidding. A grand power rep once pm'd me about their new SMG when I expressed doubt about their time line. He said other mfgs didn't understand the system and that they would be approved in a month, a year ago

I would save up for years if that's what it took to get one of these bullpups. I LOVE the AUG. Full auto with it is bliss. My favorite bullpup hands down.

I'm diggin' the STANAG mag version that was displayed recently.

I could easily live without the magazines, but the new magazine and bolt releases are major pluses IMO.

Looking at that I'm seeing a lot more inspiration from the X95. That's not a bad thing, of course. I actually just got a lot more interested.

Oh man that is what I've been looking for....that really scratches the bull pup itch for me,and I don't need yet another mag type to buy.

Love the stanag mag, but prefer the original body look

Diff'rent strokes..

As do I, but I'd rather not be stuck with the AUG's Disco era control layout.

Anyways, I just hope these end up being approved fairly soon, to save me from having to buy an X95.

S&J were at the grand opening on the 2nd location for NAS guns & ammo. the f90 was on there.
As was the importer, , its just a matter of speed of goverment on this project.
It will happen when it happens.

I agree with that Sasquatch. The AR type mags are better but the stock looks like #### in comparison to original. The original AUG with AR mags did not change the stock why would they on F90.

The original mags worked well when i used AUG during my cervix.
I have one at home still in AUS, if i put a pop rivet in it for 5 rounds, you think i could bring it back to Canada or because AUG prohibit they will take it at customs??

Nope all mags require ans import permit from defait
Not sure what's needed from oz

There is a thread on the CCFR facebook page stating that the F90 is NR and inbound. Just wondering if this is true.

Thanks

This thread is the most up to date info that has been shared, this rifle is not exactly an AUG in design or produced by Steyr, so it does have potential to skip prohibition by named varient, that however does not mean it wont get snagged as "easily converted to full auto".

Personally I think its a 50/50 chance it gets past being identified as a variant of the AUG, so until it officially has a NR FRT # in the database that can be verified, its anyones guess really. I wont hold my breath, but I will remain hopeful. I would recommend the same for anyone else interested in this rifle, so you dont get your hopes dashed.
