Little Badger Take Down Xtreme Rifle 22LR

Oh wow! $300 now! Only thing Xtreme is the price increase from years ago. Can't think of other examples of firearms almost doubling in price in the same time frame.

Ruger comes to mind, though their price increase was pre-covid.... we are in a period of heavy inflation, everyone will need a raise at work, which will likely add further cost increases.... buckle up the wild ride has just begun.

Lots of stuff have increased steeply in the last decade or less. Henry Single Shot comes to mind for things I've bought more recently, paid $440 in 2020 IIRC, now they're $750+.

It's hard to get your head around the idea that a Million dollars does not even buy an average house in many Canadian towns and cities.... $300 is an average night out at restaurant and club for a couple.... many restaurants expect customers to tip starting at 20% these days, throw in the cost of transportation if needed and maybe it's more then $300.00 for a night out.

Of course there are plenty of other options for less expensive alternatives when it comes to entertainment but and for the most part Canadians are not about to starve to death as we adjust our expectations and standard of living downward.

Yep, now they sell for 220$-250$. Isn't inflation great?

This would be AMAZING but they would have to beef up the receiver a bit.

You mean isn't corporate greed great?

Inflation has been used as a cover for corporations raising prices across the board. (Not blaming you guys, you're most likely victim of this from the distributors and manufacturers just like the rest of us). The average annual inflation in 2022 was like 6.8%, and 3.4% for 2021 (and under 1% for 2020). That only accounts for a fraction of the price increases we've seen since 2020, but the record profits being posted by many companies sure does help explain the rest of it.

Also, those price increases directly influence inflation numbers, so not only are they using inflation as a cover, they are directly contributing to that inflation at the same time. Inflation is a #####, but its nothing compared to the impacts of corporate greed these days.

Does this just 'fold' ..like the Original Badger? or, you have to take it 'Down' into 2 {separate} pieces?
You can do either. Taking it down into two pieces is the only way it will fit in the tube case. But it will fold just like the original, to roughly the same dimensions. Like the original, if you remove the bottom rail you can fold it a bit further. If you bubba the break lever by shaving it down a bit shorter, it will fold a little further still.
