Got a chance to nab one..unfired with the box and all paperwork.
Box is rough, but the gun itself is absolutely mint shape....all I gotta do is make an off..any ideas?

Will get pics tomorrow

44 40

Well the box in some of these Winchester deals seems to be fairly important, esp with commemoratives. Tough to say, how bad is the box? Likely a steal at $600.00, but the box........... FS

If it's a 44/40 model 94, I don't believe collector interest would be as high now or down the road, as it would be if it was built on the right platform,,,the '92 or even better, the '73.IMHO.

I have one with the book and box of ammo, the outer box is pretty rough, but the gun was unfired. Got it for $400.00. I just seen one on CFC for the asking price of $800.00. A year or two ago I seen one sell on SGI's website with all the blueing removed and no box or anything with it sell for $700.00.

I'm waiting to see if Winchester will issue a commemorative for issuing commemoratives. You know, "One Hundred Thousandth One of One Thousand" or some such.

They have made a lot of them, just short of issuing them for Little League Baseball game wins.

Cheers
