Hi guys.
This week I received my Little Crow Gun Works WFT Trimming tool, in .223. This tool is a must have for AR guys. Trimming was always my most hated part of reloading, but wow is thing ever awesome. I trimmed the same amount of brass in 45 minutes that would have taken me many hours using any of the other tools I have tried.(Around 300 pieces) I wouldn't buy one in just any caliber, but for any semi auto shooters this thing is the best tool you will ever buy! Its nice to buy something that works as advertised.

I see Lee is coming out with a new trimming tool that mounts on top of caliber specific dies that they are going to begin selling in the spring. I might consider buying one for calibers that I don't shoot a whole lot, as the WFT cost me $69 plus $20 shipping. The new lee tool can be seen on the FS Reloading site.(I don't see it on the LEE site as of yet) No word on pricing yet.

I second this endorsement! I bought two WFT's (.223 and .308) this year. Definitely my favorite reloading gear purchase this year, amazing time savers.

I've been using a Possum Hollow trimmer for my .223 and .308 but I've recently purchased a WFT in .308 and will probably buy one for .223 in the new year.

I find the Possum Hollow trimmers seem to be either wearing out (the delrin that the case pushes against might be wearing) or the design itself seems to not lend itself to accurate repeatable trim lengths. Once I give the .308 a shot, I'll decide on buying a .223.

I chuck my trimmers into a hand drill that I have attached to my workbench. I can trim about 4 a minute consistently. I have to debur and chamfer each one as separate steps but the Hornady Case Prep Assistant allows me to debur or chamfer at a consistent rate of about 10 or more a minute.

It is great being able to handle the brass with two hands while the tools are stationary and do all the work.
