Little Crow's Gunworks

I had one for my 204. works great. Just bought another for my 223. have not used it yet.

I hate hand trimming brass. especially the small stuff. These trimmers made life alot easier.

I have one in .223, and it works great and is fast when doing large batches of cases to feed my AR15 rifles.

On the flip side of this the simple Lee trimmer chucked in a drill is almost as fast and costs far less.

The simple Lee trimmer will trim from the base of the case to the case mouth (OAL) and the WFT trims off the the shoulder location. Meaning the case length with the WFT can vary .001 to .003 depending on brass spring back after sizing.

Bottom line, if trimming large batches the WFT would be my first choice. If doing smaller batches there is nothing wrong with a simple Lee trimmer.

What caliber are you after ? I have a extra set up with a 223 insert , you can order inserts and whole unit from x reload when they have stock . I like mine but now have one for each caliber I do lots of . It just takes a bit to set for each caliber ,

Take a look at the giruade tri-way trimmer. It will trim, chamfer and debur in one go. I have the WFT in 308 and 223, works great but still need to chamfer and debur. Anything to shorten the case prep process it's worth the money.

I have one and a few different inserts. So far so good but I haven't changed from .223 yet. I also have not trimmed a ton of brass. I ordered mine direct a while back. There are a couple of site sponsors that carry them. Someone just mentioned X-Reload.
There used to be a mention of a Canadian dealer on the Little Crow site but I can't see that now. Digging around here on the sponsors sites might reveal who carries them.

I bought the WFT for my 223 brass prep and while it's fast and works great i would get the Giraud Tri Way Trimmer because it trims and chamfers/deburrs in one step. It's also roughly the same price as the WFT.

This!!

the lee trimmer in a drill is no where near as fast as the WFT. Grab a case put in it the WFT for a few seconds and your done. with the lee you have to tighten the case in the chuck then put the trimmer in the case then remove the case from the chuck.

I've bought several and they were good, but not great. They aren't quite as consistent as the videos would have you believe, but still are pretty good. I don't trim a lot of brass and I'm back to using my Lyman Crankem. They don't bother telling you that they charge you USD 50 for shipping in a seven dollar flat rate shipping box.
