ahhhh, interesting video. But I'm soooo happy that I'm no longer required to shoot that exercise along with 100'000 other people.

Nothing less fun then having to shoot a not very challenging exercise, supervised by cranky old man who constantly claim how much better it was in the old days when they still had muzzle loaders that were so much better then the "new" plastic rifle.

I'm soooo not going back to doing that anytime soon. Except to piss them off with AR15, AK's and the like.

hmm,, 10 rounds for 5 CH Frank, about 70 cents a round.

Quite the controlled system. I'm surprised they do not count the spent casings.

Cool video.

Just saying there are a lot of procedural steps and checks to enter the range. I've driven onto military ranges here in Canada with my guns and ammo and no one asked to inspect any of it.

Why should they count the cases?

People are trusted to not take home rounds.

same over here. But these guys only shoot once a year and are usually not that familiar with the 300m targetshooting-style range. Most shooting in the army is done out in the fields, where the guns are loaded in the beginnung and unloaded at the end of the day.

Shooting on a 300m range is quite different from that. It's kind of a clash between people with different mindset, soldier vs targetshooters (who provide the personnel)

"Kampfhamster" - Love that!

The one of one of my rancher neighbours is a Swiss. She has a 6.5 Swede '96 which she uses to shoot wolves. Her husband is also a hunting guide. ALL of my female neighbours own rifles and know how to use them, as does my wife, who bought her AR 15 before I bought mine. But she doesn't like my Tavor Tar 21.
