Little known Hunting Facts

Mountain air is less dense and less humid which produces less drag on bullets... the same load will shoot faster and have less wind drift at 7000ft than it will at 1000ft.
I don't know where I am going with this but it is a handy excuse I suppose.

But can they plant food plots at 7000 feet? Maybe there is no need to plant food plots at that elevation because the shooting is easier???

Does that mean a 30-30 at 7000 ft will shoot flatter than a 270 short mag at 700?

Now, where did I put that flame retardent :D

Deep, gentlemen, deep...;) :D
Nice jugs BC Bigbore, can I borrow them?
Why not, I did :D

A box of Eddy matches can be used to call Amisk .
Shake it back and forth while watching for them.

I say Amisk becuase of all the idiotic replies I would get if I used the "normal" word for this critter!:D

A lynx is a wild animal, not a " oh, MY! What a big kitty!"

Woodchucks vapourize when shot with a .577 Snider.
The strap marks on yore butt after said safari disapear also, but the memory last forever!:D :D

Partridge shot with a round ball instead of a shot charge vapourize if shot inproperly.

The butt stock of a Winchester pump .22 makes a better handle for shooting than a club for lynx in a snare.

If your jet boat weighs 1,000 lbs. it will get just as stuck as a bigger boat when you run out of water!

On well used gun ranges there are pockets of heavier air that are caused by the continual passage of high speed projectiles... commonly referred to as LUMPY-AIR!
The air molecules are compressed and they become fused by repeated contact with supersonic bullets, this effect is cumulative and lumpy air is the result.
In many busy gunranges and surrounding areas where there is a high volume of shooting this can create a serious problem. Vast clouds of lumpy air that are invisible to the naked eye (although with proper training they are identifiable) can drift into your line of sight and cause your shot to vary dramatically.
Ever wonder why you get that mystery flyer when you are shooting a group... what about the buck that you had dead to rights and you missed for no reason... that 5th shot after four 10 rings that hits the 4 ring... wonder no longer...LUMPY AIR brother that is the problem.
I will be giving a Lumpy Air seminar this summer at a bar near you... bring lots of money... this is for your own good.

DON'T EVER LET BIGREDD CLEAN YOUR GUN WHILE HUNTING WITH HIM! HE WILL, WITHOUT DOUGHT CHANGE YOUR POI AND ACCUSE YOU OF BEING A PISS POOR SHOT:eek: HE CLAIMS IT ENSURES "SELECTIVE HARVEST", IN OTHER WORDS ONLY HE SHOOTS THE BIG FELLAS:D

- An attacking bear can be stopped dead on it's tracks, when hit on it's muzzle by a steaming pile of crap .

- In the event that your crap-shoot misses it's target, you can still survive the attack. No need to outrun the bear, just run faster than your fat buddy next to you.
