This afternoon after a shooting session at my ranch, i came to my home, and start to cleans all guns i haved use. then was the time to my taurus raging bull in 44 mag, to go to the washing,i do what i do each time after shooting, brush, patches, polishing clothes, and suddendly i ear a bong, the cylinder drop to the floors, with a small spring, ans a short pin going out!!!! That happens to you before, with any calibers of revolvers? It is easy to fix? Again sorry for my poor english, regards Kendo.

Not sure, but you can probably find a parts break down here that may help you put the pieces back together.

Thanks you John, i have check the diagram you give to me, and gone try to fix the problem this afternoon, hope thats works, cause if not, call the cfac, ans wait for the carrying paper for bring the gun to the gunsmith!!
Your help, is very appréciated, Kendo

You might not need a xtra paper from cfc to bring it to the gunsmith. It should state on your long term ATT that you are approved to bring to a gunsmith.

Thanks to all of you for your help! I tried to fix the problem, but am realize the firing spring is twist, i believed that cause me trouble for put the cylinder at the right place.
Also i checked my att, ans no mentions to bring to the gunsmith, may be is it different for each provinces. Tomorrow am gonna call the gunsmith, and ask him if i can just bring the cylinder, to put a new spring on, and if he can show me the way,to but the cylinder on the gun!!!!
Anyway, i keep you info,,,kendo

I would consider not posting the fact that you just were shooting a restricted handgun on your own property, but I guess everyone else missed that!

message to mlehtovaara, when i said at my ranch, i make a mistake, it is at my gun club, or shooting ranch. Sorry again for my poor english, but your post is it for help me? I don't think so. You just make me loosing my times, and proof what king of guys you are.sorry for the comments, and don't want to argue with you!

I think I understand what you are saying. On the Raging Bull yoke, there is a small spring and pin(cylinder stop pin) that slips into the hole on the end of the lower arm that goes into the frame. It is only held in place when the yoke is inserted into the frame and if you dont hold the pistol at the correct angle when removing the yoke from the frame for cleaning, it will simply fall off. In my case it fell into the carpet and made for quite the search and rescue operation. I am assuming that you have recovered both the spring and pin? If so, the spring slips over the pin shaft and they fit into the hole on the lower arm of the yoke. Keep the yoke horizontal or angled upward so it doesnt slip off and the whole cylinder/yoke assembly is reinserted into the frame and secured with the screw on the side of the frame. If you are not aware of the presence of the spring/pin when disassembling for cleaning they will easily fall out and leave you wondering where that part came from or find out the gun doesnt function after you reassemble it. If you have lost the pin, a temporary fix is to use a small nail with a flat head cut to length until a replacement can be found.
I hope this helps, but rest assured that its not part of your trigger. Your manual will have an exploded diagram in it and it should show you what I am talking about. If you cant find the diagram, pm me and I can send a link to you.
Cheers

Because your grammar is so badly messed up is not a reason for you to jump on this member for setting you straight on firearm laws.

I don't particularly like "losing my time" deciphering what you're trying to ask either. Less so when you demonstrate this kind of attitude as someone who just got here ten days ago.

Maybe you should have simply posted in your own language. Many of us here are bilingual. What's your excuse?

If you're here to learn, as you've stated in your introductory post, your first lesson should be to learn some manners when you're in someone else's back yard.

Well I never meant to point any fingers, and your reaction I believe was unwarranted. I simply looked at the facts, and made a comment in an attempt to get you straight on the law. You are new, and seemingly dont know alot about guns from your post so I was just trying to help. I actually didnt really notice that your english in the first post was that bad, and it only became clear after your second. But if your gonna come on this site and ask questions like you are, you need to relax a little on the defensiveness. I could have gone alot further, and actually insulted you or something like that. I never did! Grow a thicker skin, and enjoy the site. Apparently there is a French forum going to be added soon so that may help you as well.
P.S. I do find it funny that English speaking Canadians are expected to learn and understand French but it is not the same the other way around, even though like 80 percent of the country speaks English. I understood your french post just fine!

I appreciate your last post. And like things to be clear. Yes at your first post i was on a defensive,I recognize to be new on this forum, but i am not a beginer with firearms. On every move i do, i always checked if i am legaly, for me having firearms could be a rights and also priviliege!! Ressentment is not a part of my live, and am gone try to make growing my skin;o)))
