I like unusual firearms. Not Rare, but ones that are available, but that you rarely see at the local range.
For the longest time my first 9mm was going to be a Glock. Until I saw this...

The Jericho 941 in 9mm. I fell in love.

The Pietta PPS-50 Puma (Not a pistol, but hey..) I just had to get it. It just looked so far removed from all the .22 rifles everyone has.

What firearms do you folks have(lust over) that are.. not rare.. But not common either but are still available in Canada.

I sold my PPS-50, too much of a pain to disassemble to clean. I know 3 guys at work who have one as well. No issues with it, just a pain to clean. Who puts 3 springs into a 22LR?

Not sure how to upload photos but apparently my sig sp 2340 is rare up here in canada. I get asked all the time about it when at the range. Also I ordered a new mag and I will be 2 months before I can get it.

Try CDNN out of the states, they often have 10 round surplus mags for this series....wish i hadn't sold mine :(

As to the pietta, i've seen a LOT of them returned due to feeding issues. Main culprit seems to be a sloppy fit in the mag well. If you are willing to hold the mag either pushing forward on it or pulling back they would run. but if you did't put pressure on it they'd choke. Wouldn't be hard to modify the mag or well with a filler block, but why should you have to on a new firearm? I like the wood stock version that looks like a PPSH sub gun rather then the tapco model personally.

not looking forward to cleaning my pps-50. but i probably won't until it fails, or just gets too fouled.
and i would kill for a M96 Expeditionary rifle. or what ever they are called in Canada. I saw one for sale on irunguns a few months back. but $$$$

I didn't think we have any Jericho's north of the border with a frame mounted safety. Where'd you find this?
