Im in the market for a new pheasant shotgun but can't make up my mind between a semi auto or a o/u and can't decide between 12 gauge or 20. I know kind of silly right, it will be for upland game strictly but I want something light enough to carry all day that won't remove my shoulder from the socket when I shoot.

A-5's should be around and fairly reasonable too.
Or WSS has the Savage 350 combo on for a smear over a
couple brown ones............. Yep........ run.....

Youth model beretta 391 in 20ga is a very fast light gun. I'm 5'11" and it still fit me good. For upland I'd use a sxs myself but I'd take an o/u over a semi any day. Cz woodcock deluxe in 20ga may be worth a look

I use a Benelli M2 field in 12 ga with 26" barrel. When carrying it around it feels like I'm carrying a 20 gauge, recoil is pretty nice too! You can get them in 20ga and I imagine it would be very sweet!

K my mind may have been made up, I want a Franchi Al 28 in 20 gaugeor a weatherby SA-08 in 20 guage. I think these two would be great gun's for upland game. I just need to find a dealer that carries them in Canada now, any ideas?

TNT gunworks or Prairie Gun Traders in Regina and Avonlea are good places to start. You can also order online from Cabelas or Wholesale if you've made up your mind.

The Franchi 48 AL in 20 gauge is an awesome little gun! Not many guns out there that handle as well as those. The 28 gauge version is pretty sweet too but really more of a reloaders shotshell as the factory ammo selection is poor.
