Had this same problem last week. I was using reloads that work fine in my Win94 30-30 but I guess I've been getting sloppy with my sizing 
as one jammed up good in my (new to me) savage 30-30. 
Did just what guntech sugested, drill rod and tapped out with a hammer. I guess the chamber is a little tighter on the savage then on the winchester
