Here's a pic of me and the wife at the last Star Wars convention. I'm dressed as a federation X-wing fighter pilot. I was working out pretty heavily prior to the convention. I wanted to get that ripped, steely-eyed look. I think I pulled it off pretty good, except my acne flared up...

Here is the wife heading over to the all-you-can-eat pork buffet. She is dressed as Queen Amadila. Her resemblance to Natalie Portman is striking, don't you think??

Grant, you must have a separate house to house all that period gear. Was into the buckskinning thing 20 years ago and still love setting up the tipi now and then for a relaxing weekend but now your giving me the bug to complete my No1Mk111. Maybe this will pass after I shovel the snow...Bob

They were taken when he was stationed at RCAF Station Bella Bella - away up the British Columbia coast, in the middle of nowhere - the only ways to get in there were by sea or air.

Yikes:eek: , I lived 9 months of eternity in Bella Bella. Aug 86 - April 87. The base and airstrip were actually not on the reserve where I was. It was on the "white mans" island. Not too many remnants of the military left anymore.
