2 weeks from today my brother and I are going up into zone 402 on an Elk and Sheep hunt.
I know we are planning on camping near the Livingston range fire watch tower, and am trying to find it on google maps.
I haven't been in that area for about 15 years so am having trouble finding it.

Does anyone who has been there with a GPS know the co-ordinates?

I would like to show my wife where it is on a satellite picture.

Thanks in advance.

49 degrees 54 mins. 53.33 secs North
114 degrees 21 mins. 30.63 secs West

That should put you right on the roof of the Livingston Lookout Tower.
I was just up there one day on the Sept. long weekend. The fishing was pretty good too. Only one nice day of weather and then rain the rest of the time, but we had fun anyways. If you haven't been there in a while, you're going to be surprised. They've done a sh*t-load of clear cut logging, both up the Dutch Creek road and the Oldman River Road. You aren't allowed up to the top end of the Oldman anymore either. They've made the area around the old Galena mine up there a natural area like around Beehive Mtn. Still foot and horse access I think, but no motorized vehicles.

Good luck to you. Let me know if you see any legal Bighorn rams.

I think that actually puts you about 10 feet to the south east corner! lol

Thanks for the co-ordinates!
I down loaded google earth tonight, and found it after some digging and figuring out how that works.

Just going by what I could see in the pictures it does look like there is a fair bit more treeless land than there was 15 or so years ago!

Thanks again.

I will post some pics here when we get back if we happen to get something...
