I'm usually the one answering all these questions but there is one thing about the AG42B that I just don't get and thats the cleaning rod.
The AG42B's cleaning rod has an elongated hole at one end that, when I first saw it, looks to be for holding a patch to swab the barrel. However, this end does not fit into the barrel past the muzzle brake as it's too large.
Is this hole simply for some other rod I don't know of to make a T-handle for cleaning similar to the round hole in SKS cleaning rods, ect? And if so, why is it an elongated slot and not a round hole?
Anyone know it's purpose?
