I've had this gun for a little over a month now. I didn't think much of it until now. Is it just mine or, none of the Ljungman's have a stock disk? I mean it doesn't even have a spot or hole or nothing. Is this normal or is my stock one of the original ag42's that were converted to AG42b's? The date on the reciever says 1945. The gun is non-matching if it matters any. There is no mention of this on any reference pages anywhere that I've seen on the net. Thanks for any info.

Ljungmans, your rifle is still correct. I've seen one like that where the stock does not have a cut out for a disc. Not sure of the history of this, perhaps these were older stocks used for replacements when needed, by the swedes. Anyway they are out there. Bill.

If you take it to the range, its a good idea to pack a lunch when you go out to pick up the fired cases. You may have a long walk.;)

You might have someone with a pair of field glasses to spot where the empties land.:D

Been there, done that John. I've had an ad in the EE for almost a month looking for the stuff. I've got about 250 +/- down the pipe already. I think I found a sweet load load for her. 100 yards off hand (with sling) getting 3 inch groups. Not too bad for me considering every one of my guns (literally) is scoped. One shotty has a 3x9x32, the other has a red dot, my 22's have 3x9x40's and my Savage FPLE has an 8x32x50 on her. This is the first gun that I own that I use the iron sights and I'm quite impressed.
